Ingredients
Simple Syrup
  • 1/2cup water
  • 1/2cup sugar
  • 1bunch thyme sprigsI used about 10 sprigs, but remember that the more you use, the stronger the thyme flavor will be.
Instructions
Simple Syrup
  1. Combine water, sugar, and thyme in a saucepan on medium high heat. Bring the sugar syrup to a boil, then turn off the heat and let it cool. You can put the syrup into the fridge to help it cool down faster.
Lemonade
  1. Combine fresh lemon juice and water in a pitcher. Stir in the simple syrup and add enough ice to fill the pitcher. Taste the lemonade to make sure it is not too sweet or too sour.
  2. Serve chilled or over ice.
