The Community is a new virtual support group for BBIPOC where we will talk all things nutrition, but also creating a safe where folks will be able to create connections.

Group will start Thursday, July 27th at 6 pm EST.

We as providers are not only doing a disservice to, but are actively harming our clients if we are not individualizing our recommendations.

In order to conform, we, BBIPOC, are taught to erase our identity.

Welcome to The Community. A new virtual support group by BIPOC, for BIPOC.

You have seen me talk about the importance of building community and that is what this group is all about. We are going to be talking about all things nutrition, religion and food, family and food, stress, being BIPOC, finances and food, and anything else that comes up in these times. The group is meant to be loosely structured to allow for insight from everyone who wants to participate.

Cost is pay what you can, even if that's nothing. This group was made to be inclusive.

If you've been wondering why I've been terrible at responding to emails and DMs for the past YEAR, it's because of this! I got married! AND we bought a house! I've moved twice in the last 6 months.

I can't guarantee that I'll respond any faster, but I'll be trying harder 🙃
